The city of Delray Beach is located between Boynton Beach and Boca Raton in Southeast Florida. “The Avenue” in Delray Beach, Florida is the section of Atlantic Avenue from I-95 east to A1A. This palm lined street is filled with shops, galleries, boutiques, antiques, cafés, and restaurants. A favorite of locals and tourists alike, it has a relaxed feel and abundance of things to see and do year round, including carriage tours. Periodically you’ll also find festivals and events taking place, the biggest being the Delray Affair art fair or the Garlic Festival. Around the holidays, the city erects a huge Christmas tree you can walk inside of and offers fun holiday activities like ice skating on plastic (you have to see it to understand). There are also some great hotels right in the heart of it all and steps from the beach. If you are visiting South Florida, I think you should consider Delray Beach as a base camp to the areas sights and attractions.
