I’ve had the opportunity to visit Biltmore Estate twice and it will not disappoint, I promise.  Biltmore is the largest home in America and offers unique and grand architecture that is sure to captivate you.  The furnishings and artwork are abounding, and the grounds are spectacular.  The front lawn of this place alone is amazing!  After touring the home (I recommend purchasing the audio accompaniment while you tour it) take a stroll through the gardens and then head over to the winery which was once the Estate’s Dairy. 

Also, I hear the McDonald’s outside the Biltmore Estate gates is the world’s fanciest (grand fireplace and full time pianist).  So that’s something to check out, especially with kids in tow.  I’m an average gal and find that stuff fairly entertaining, but taste is subjective as we all know.
