The Edsel and Eleanor Ford House is the former home and pride of Henry Ford’s only son Edsel, his wife Eleanor, and their children. Located on Lake St. Clair in Gross Point Shores, Michigan; you have not grown up here if you’ve never visited this place. The home is cared for by an endowment from the family, is in pristine condition, and maintains most of the original furnishings and decor. My personal favorite since I was a child is the playhouse they built for their daughter on the home’s grounds. This miniature playhouse has a working kitchen, quaint living room complete with miniature piano, and of course a tiny little bedroom for napping. I think you will love this estate and feel as I do; it is an impressive home with beautiful grounds, spectacular lake view, and an ever present allure.
