Kokkari Estiatorio in San Francisco, the sister restaurant to Evvia Estiatorio in Palo Alto, California, is a Greek restaurant with outstanding cuisine and a warm and inviting atmosphere. On a recommendation from a San Francisco native, we dined on a variety of old world dishes from Dolmathes, Tzatziki, and maybe the best Smelt I’ve ever tried.  Note that reservations are pretty must required and valet is available and advisable for $8.
