Tarantino’s Restaurant – Fisherman’s Wharf, San Francisco, California
Date: 7/14/2009 3:11:33 AM Category: California

Said to be the best seafood at Fisherman’s Wharf, their second story dining room offers a beautiful view of the boat harbor to accompany your lunch or dinner. Guaranteed fresh, they purchase their seafood from the end of their pier which can also be enjoyed at their sidewalk crab stand. I personally enjoyed a Dungeness Crab Sandwich for lunch which still makes my mouth water.

Depending on your timing, you might be able to catch the famous “Bushman” from a table by the window which will no doubt amuse the whole family. The Bushman hides frozen behind a bundle of branches and waits for unsuspecting tourists. When they approach, he leaps out to startle them and provoke laughter among the gathering crowds and previous targets. The Bushman can typically be found across the street from Joe’s Crab Shack in Fisherman’s Wharf, in front of the boat harbor, next to Tarantino’s Restaurant.
